Extra Info: What is a Drawknife?
Manufacturer: Cornelius Whitehouse
Tool Type: Drawknife
Drawknife Type: Standard
This model of Cornelius Whitehouse drawknife had shaped Beech handles with
decorative double parallel scribed lines around the centre of the handles.
The two handles were finished with steel ferrules at the bottom of the
handles where the drawknife frame/tangs entered the handles.
The blade was stamped with the markings 'Cornelius Whitehouse &
Sons, Cannock' and 'Hedgehog reg trade mark' with a hedgehog symbol / logo.
The cutting edge width of the blade was approximately 10 inches.
"Cornelius Whitehouse & Sons, Cannock" - found on the face of the blade.
"Hedgehog Reg Trade Mark" - found on the face of the blade surrounding a hedgehog picture.
