The Stanley Rule & Level rule number 51 is an early boxwood folding
rule with brass hinges and trimmings.
The rule is marked 'Stanley Rule & Level Co New Britain Conn USA,
warranted boxwood, no.51'.
The 24 inch rule is marked out in inches on both sides with one side
being broken down into 1/8 inch increments and the other side being
broken down into 1/16 inch increments.
